Hyundai Motor India launched it’s much waited mid-size sedan the Fluidic Verna on Wednesday. Priced between Rs. 699,000 and Rs. 1,074,500 (Ex-Showroom Price), the new Verna is available with two petrol and two diesel engines.
The petrol options are 1.4 VTVT with 107 horsepower and 1.4 VTVT with 123 horsepower. Diesel options include 1.4 CRDI with 90 horses and 1.6 CRDI producing 128 horsepower. Power is delivered through a 5 speed manual gearbox, a 4 speed automatic transmission is also available in the optional package.
Standard features are LED turn indicators on outside mirrors, chrome front grille, door black out tapes, blue interior illumination, power windows, keyless entry, air conditioner, electrically adjustable out side rear view mirrors, driver information display, power steering with tilt function, front map lamps and four speaker MP3 player with AUX-in and USB,
The 1.6 VTVT and 1.6 CRDi VGT adds rear defogger with timer, chrome interior package, rear parking sensors, Bluetooth connectivity with steering mounted control, cluster ionizer, sunglass holder, theatre dimming interior lamps, front seat armrest, tilt adjustable driver seats and iPod connectivity.
The SX adds rear view camera with display on ECM, auto dim inside rear view mirror, electrically foldable outside mirror, cooled glove box, adjustable rear head rest,
The top end SX (O) variants adds smart key with illuminated start button, chrome outside door handles.
Standard safety features are Front fog lamps, clutch lock system, central locking system and immobilizer. The 1.6 variants adds dual stage driver side airbag, ABS with EBD, rear disk brakes, impact sensing door unlocks. The SX adds speed sensing door locks. The optional package adds side and curtain airbags.

i am also planning to take Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.4 CRDI what is your opinion about the vehicle and i came to know that it is a fibre body my cousin works in wolks wagon he told me that it is a verna fibre body he told me to take WW Vento i am not able to justify which is the best vehicle can you briefly give me full details about Hyundai Verna Fluidic 1.4 CRDI about mileage , and also how about the maintenance ,
A set of mud flap will cost u 2200/- in case of Volkswagen. Whereas in case of Hyundai it will u max. to max. 500/-
Regarding maintenance German cars can never match Asian car makers in terms of cost effectiveness.
What fluidic is offering at 9 lacs. Vento can never think of providing it at that price. Because of the very simple fact that it is German made.
But if u r thinking of the two nations as whose engineering is better? Then Volkswagen will stay way ahead of Hyundai. There’s no doubt about it.
yeah, somehow you are right, but at the same time you can’t compare german engineering with any other technology….the freshness makes a difference & innovation creates the taste of having german car.
German engineering is outstanding agreed, but not their auto industry at the present day. VW has numerous problems in the past and present.
Asian automakers make reliable cars inspite of numberous recalls in recent years, including Toyota. At the prices we are talking Asian Car beat German.
Having said that my next SUV would be German knowingly that they are not that reliable.

I am also plan to get this Hyundai Verna. Hyundai is better and best reputed brand than other brand in world. Exterior and Interior of this car is really amazing and looks luxurious . I think this car will rock the market. It’s really cool!!!
The new Hyundai Verna definitely looks interesting and uber cool and it is quite spacious too.Thats what i think at
least.It will definitely take the market with a storm because it has almost everything that a person needs in a car.
This is really a good & beautiful car. But it should be an economically efficient car for a middle class peoples. Company should develop C.N.G. model as petrol car is much more expensive.
I’m also thinking to buy Verna Fluidic it’s a excellent car with loaded features in it. I liked far better than the new honda city.
