MG Hector Overview
MG entered Indian market with the launch of MG Hector and received a good response from the Indian market in the compact SUV segment. It is available in 16 variants with different configurations, starting with a price of 14.96 lakhs for the base variant Hector Style 1.5 up to 21.66 lakhs for the top end model Hector Sharp 2.0 Diesel.
MG Hector comes with two powertrain options which includes a 1.5 liter turbocharged petrol engine combined with a six-speed manual and DCT gearboxes and a 2.0 liter turbo-diesel engine combined with a six-speed manual gearbox. There’s also a 48V hybrid option with the 1.5 liter petrol engine with a six-speed manual gearbox. The electric motor comes with engine start/stop function and brake-energy regeneration.
