The time will come for electric cars. Hyundai Motor India is going to launch its new Kona EV in July this year. According to the source, the new Kona will be launched in India on July 9. This is the first electric car of CO company in India.
Hyundai’s EV Kona
The new Kona EV may be equipped with a battery of 39.2 kWh. Which generates 135bhp power and 335Nm torque. It will cover a distance up to 300 kms in full charge condition.
In addition, it will take only 9.3 seconds to reach the speed of 0 to 100 km per hour. Apart from this, it will also get fast charging facility.
Prices around 25L
The estimated price of the new Kona EV can be around 25 lakh rupees. If this happens, then it will be a very expensive car. The company will bring it through the CKD route and assembles it in Sriperumbudur factory of Hyundai located near Chennai in India.

If you talk about the features, then the Bluelink connectivity can be included in the new Kona EV. This is the same technology which has been included in the recently launched car Hyundai’s Venue.
The car will feature automatic climate control, LED projector headlamps and features such as DRLs, Electric Sunroof, Rain Sensing Wipers.
